Mainer's Anti Gun Measure again.

Well, few democrats are at it again. Trying to make a New assault Weapons ban in Maine. Trying to fix a Problem, that does not Exist. Trying to destroy Our American 2nd Amendment rights yet again. (no surprise) Still can't fathom why Mainers vote these Scum in. Anyway this is the NRA Alert I received on this. Its being Discussed right now, though so might be too late.

LD 1579, legislation which proposes to ban the possession of so-called "assault weapons" and .50 caliber rifles in Maine is being heard next week by the Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety. This legislation seeks to ban certain semi-automatic firearms and .50 caliber rifles commonly used for competitive shooting and other sporting purposes. The proposal also declares certain firearms and ammunition as contraband thereby allowing law enforcement to confiscate and seize your firearms without compensation. Without a doubt this proposal is by far more insidious than the bans in California and New York City.

Please attend a public hearing on Monday, May 2 at 10:00 AM in room 208 of the Cross Building. In addition, please contact your legislator and respectfully urge him or her to oppose LD 1579! You can reach the Maine legislature at 207-287-1400. You can find contact information for your legislators by using the "Write Your Representatives" tool at www.nraila.org. Members of the Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety can be reached at 207-287-1122 and include:

Senator Bill Diamond

Senator John M. Nutting

Senator Dean F. Clukey

Representative Patricia A. Blanchette

Representative Stan Gerzofsky

ABC Making a 911 Mini Series.

Oh boy, here we go. Seems ABC is making a Mini Series On 911. Anyone notice that all the New Mini Series that come out are about massive disasters. What was it called... The one about Yellow Stone Erupting.. Oh and lets not forget the great Movie about the attack of the Killer locust. Sci-Fi is coming out with a Half Breed, Earth Quake VS Nuclear Power Plant.

Anyway Read this if your interested in 911 Mini-series.

ABC To Air American Idol Story

Well, been hearing about this story for some time now and I'm interested to see what it's about. But of course I think I already know what it is about. After witnessing last weeks response from Paula Abdul, after Constatine was voted off it's pretty obvious. Paula and constatine are fooling around.

But the rumor mill on the internet is that its not even about Any of these contestants, its not even about any finalist at all. Its about someone last year that never made it to the finals. So if this is true, and ABC airs this lame story. Then they are desperate.

But, I guess I will try to watch it wensday and see what the fuss is all about. But I have a feeling this might back fire on ABC.

Now American Idol does have it's problem. I still think its fixed, maybe not by the People that Produce the show. But by the people that can call 100,000 times if they want. But oh well, guess they will never ever change it.

UPDATED INFO: Contestant is suppose to be Cory Clark from season 2. He was the guy that was kicked off because did not disclose criminal charges.

24, A Show You Should Not Miss

24 starring Kiefer Shoutherland, is a show that I have missed for the last 4 seasons. Don't know why but I did. So few months ago I decided to rent the first season from Netflix. And boy am I glad I did. I have not seen such a good TV series in a very long, long time.

You see, I'm the kind of guy that can watch movies and figure out the plot within 10 mins of the movie. I think this is why latest movies are so Boring to me.. But 24, boy the first season had me going. It's different, I tell you their are so many plot twist and happenings going on that its crazy!! Now I do admit that I do figure some of it out, but I also get a little stumped once in awhile.

I'm now half way through season 2, and even though I figured out majority of plot (execpt some of it still has me wondering) its still a great show.

But, don't jump into the series NOW, without watching the other seasons. Cause you most likely will ruin the fun factor of watching them. So Hopefully I can get season 4 in before season 5 kicks off next fall. Cause I sure do want to watch this on T.V and get into some of the discussions on each episode that fills the internet after the shows.

So if your looking for something to do this summer. Catch up on 24. Don't worry try to remember that even though the disk have 4 episodes on them, they are not 4 hours long. With commercials taken out, they run about 3 hours or less.

Official 24 Website. (don't peak to far into this site if you have not seen first 3 seasons)
